We collect the following information when you sign up for the Assurance Collision Repair Draw Program:

• Contact Information: full name, city of residence, email address, and phone number
• Eligibility Information: confirmation that you are at least 18 years old and a resident of Ontario, Canada
• Vehicle Condition: whether your car is currently damaged
• Repair Timing Preference: Right away (urgent repair), Within a few weeks, In a few months, or Not sure yet
• Service Interest: such as Spot Touchups or other services we offer
• Notification Preference: whether you prefer to be notified by email or SMS if you win
• Marketing Consent: an opt-in checkbox (not pre-ticked) indicating whether you wish to receive service updates, promotions, and special offers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link provided in our messages.
• Technical Information: IP address, device type, browser type, and usage data collected via cookies to improve site functionality (you can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings)

Accountability

We are responsible for personal information under our control and have designated our Privacy Contact (see below) to oversee compliance with this policy and PIPEDA.

Purpose of Collection

We use your information for the following purposes:

• Administering the draw, verifying eligibility, conducting the draw, contacting the selected entrant, and awarding the prize
• Verifying contact details to prevent fraud and ensure eligibility (for example, sending a confirmation link or code by email and/or SMS)
• Communicating with you about your entry and, if you opted in, sending service updates, promotions, or offers in compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (consent, sender identification, and unsubscribe in each message)
• Improving our services by analysing aggregated participation and usage data
• Preventing fraud and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and these official rules

Disclosure of Your Information

We may share your information only with service providers who assist us in operating the program (such as hosting, email/SMS delivery, and form/entry management) and with legal authorities when required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal information and we do not transfer your data outside of Canada.

Security and Data Retention

We implement physical, administrative, and technical safeguards to protect your personal information. We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law, after which it is anonymised or securely destroyed.

Your Rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to access and correct your data, withdraw consent for marketing communications, request deletion (subject to legal obligations), and lodge a complaint with the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Contact us to exercise these rights.
